The new shift pattern creates a smoother ride than the previous Sentra models. To save more fuel, Idle Stop Start shuts off the engine when idling. Nissan outfits the 2024 Sentra with the latest technology features. The SV and SR trims get an 8.0-inch touchscreen with an extra USB-C port and SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Nissan adds a 4.2-inch multi-information display in the entry-level trim and upgrades it to a 7.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display in the Sentra SR and SV trims. Drivers who choose the SR Premium package can add more features, including Prima-Tex seats, a power-sliding moonroof, the Intelligent Around View Monitor, a heated steering wheel, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Standard driver-assistance technology includes Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and the Nissan Safety Shield 360 with Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Automatic Braking. Additional safety features include available Intelligent Cruise Control and the Easy-Fill Tire Alert System.
