Ruggedly Refined Three-Row SUV

The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder is a comfortable and competent midsize SUV with three rows of seats and a plethora of standard features. Nissan offers the Pathfinder in a handful of trims starting with the affordable S and topping out with the luxuriously loaded Platinum. With standard front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive, the Nissan Pathfinder is an excellent vehicle for navigating the streets in and around Minneapolis in all weather conditions.

Lupient Nissan of Brooklyn Park near Maple Grove proudly features the full lineup of Nissan vehicles, including the capable and roomy 2023 Pathfinder.

Capable Powertrain

All 2023 Nissan Pathfinder configurations include one engine choice: a 3.5-liter V6 with natural aspiration. This substantial engine delivers 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. Nissan pairs the engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Drivers can add all-wheel drive to all trims, but the Rock Creek and Platinum trims are only available with all-wheel drive.

Drivers who choose the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek trim get extra oomph, as the engine is tuned to deliver 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Because of the added horsepower, the Rock Creek trim gets an EPA-estimated 20/23 MPG, while the standard engine configurations with front-wheel drive get an EPA-estimated 20/27 MPG.

The Pathfinder Rock Creek trim is the off-road-ready version of this family-friendly SUV. This model includes the standard features in the SV trim and comes with an off-road-tuned suspension, an off-road camera, LED fog lights, a roof rack, all-terrain tires, a Class-II tow hitch receiver, and enhanced transmission cooling.

Keeping Drivers and Passengers Safe with Safety Shield 360

Drivers who choose the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder can trust they are buying a highly-rated, safe vehicle. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the Pathfinder a Top Safety Pick+ and awarded it with a Good rating in all crash tests. These exceptional safety ratings are due to the quality engineering and the Nissan Safety Shield 360 features.

The eight-passenger SUV comes standard with an impressive list of driver-assistance features. They include Forward and Reverse Collision Warning, Forward and Reverse Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic High Beam Headlights, Rear Parking Sensors, Driver Attention Monitoring, and a Rearview Camera.

Moving up one trim to the SV gives drivers Nissan’s ProPilot Assist, which adds Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering to the robust collection of driver-assistive features. The mid-level SL trim comes with a Surround-View Parking Camera System, Front Parking Sensors, and Traffic-Sign Recognition. The Platinum trim adds a Head-Up Display and Rain-Sensing Wipers.

Connectivity and Infotainment Tech

Nissan loads the Pathfinder with plenty of infotainment and connectivity features. The standard infotainment system includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, four USB ports, and a six-speaker audio system. Additional technology includes an optional remote start, auto-dimming rearview mirror with a universal garage door opener, and a smartphone Virtual Key.

The SV trim adds a remote start and a Wi-Fi hotspot as standard features. The SL trim has more tech features like a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, and more USB ports. The Platinum trim adds a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, another USB port, and a 120-volt household outlet.

Versatile Space and Styling

The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder interior seats eight when equipped with a second-row bent seat. The models with a pair of second-row captain’s chairs seat seven. Along with plenty of room for passengers, the Pathfinder has ample cargo space. When all seats are occupied, the Pathfinder has 16.6 cubic feet of space, but it increases to 45 cubic feet with the third row lowered, and 80.5 cubic feet after lowering the second row.

Comfort features in the Pathfinder include cloth seats on the base and SV trims. The SL trim includes leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Drivers can upgrade the SL by adding the SL Premium package with a panoramic moonroof, heated second-row seats, and a 13-speaker Bose audio system.
